“A Mountain of Reflection” 18 x 24 acrylic
“ A Mountain of Reflection“ was inspired by British landscape photographer, David Noton. He took a photo of a mountain reflected in water with these sorts of colors. I was turned onto him by a friend early one morning, was instantly inspired, and by noon this was on my wall drying.
I will include the photograph below. Apparently it was taken on a lake in Scotland. It’s cool along with looking very cold. I love these blues. hope I captured some of the flavor of what he did and added my own little bit of spin.
I’ll have something new for next week.
As always, please comment - your opinions are welcome.

Abstracts
“Television“ 8 x 10 acrylic “ Television” is from 2022. it is so numb when I’m sitting in front of the TV I’m absorbing infotainment with no real purpose other than the proverbial time killing (to quote an original song by a friend’s band “I’m a homicidal maniac when it comes to time).
Shocking Abstract
“Short Circuit“ 18 x 24 Ever wonder about what happens if you slice through a happens if you slice through an electrical wire? Here is my imagining of what it might look like. Image of bursting from a container of sorts. I hope you enjoy it and tomorrow will have a very different abstract.
